Frequently asked questions about this product
Q: Are the mounting screws included?
A: No. For direct wall mounting, you need M10 masonry screws, like the ASW washbasin mounting M10 × 140 mm (without cover caps) . These screws are usually already included when mounting to an existing mounting element.
Q: What hole spacing is required for wall mounting?
A: The distance between the two mounting points is 280 mm.
Q: Can I combine the washbasin with a vanity unit or a console?
A: This model is primarily designed for wall mounting. However, it can also be mounted on base cabinets or console panels, provided the dimensions, mounting points, and connections match. The manufacturer does not specify a particular furniture series.
Q: What material is the washbasin made of?
A: It is made of classic, 100% recyclable sanitary ceramic (a collaboration between CARLDIX and LAUFEN). It is not thin-walled sapphire ceramic.
Q: Which faucet fits this washbasin?
A: The washbasin is designed for classic single-hole basin mixers in standard height (size M). A suitable CARLDIX basin mixer is recommended (see accessories).
Q: Which drain fitting is needed?
A: You need a drain fitting for washbasins with overflow, e.g. the AquaCraft push-down drain fitting or a drain fitting supplied in the set with the CARLDIX tap (see accessories).
Q: Is a siphon included?
A: No. A siphon is not included and must be ordered separately.
