High-efficiency circulation pump ALPHA SOLAR for use in solar heating systems with variable or constant volume flow. However, high-efficiency pumps with electronically commutated motors (ECM), such as the ALPHA SOLAR, must not be controlled by an external speed controller that changes or varies the supply voltage.
The speed can be controlled via a pulse width modulated signal (PWM signal) supplied by the solar system controller in order to optimize the solar energy yield and the system temperature. This also significantly reduces the power consumption of the pump.
If no PWM signal is available, the ALPHA SOLAR can be set to one of 4 constant speeds. The pump is then only switched on and off via the control system.

In order to install this product, the 230 volt network must be accessed. Work on the 230 volt network may only be carried out by a qualified electrician (according to VDE 0100)!
