The KESSEL Pumpfix M is a premium backflow preventer for reliable protection against sewer backflow. Under normal operating conditions, it uses the natural gradient for drainage. Only in the event of backflow does the motorized system close the pipe, and the integrated pump takes over the safe drainage process.

The KESSEL Pumpfix M combines the advantages of a classic backflow preventer with those of a lifting station. In everyday operation, the pipe cross-section remains fully open, allowing wastewater to drain away energy-efficiently via gravity. In the event of backflow from the sewer, the system automatically detects the situation, closes the motorized backflow valve, and continues to drain reliably via the integrated macerator pump. The user-friendly Comfort control unit offers comprehensive diagnostic and monitoring functions and can optionally be integrated into building management systems. Ideal for protecting basements and drainage systems located below the backflow level.
